The Warren Township Police Traffic Bureau consists of two traffic officers. The primary responsibility of the Traffic Safety Bureau is to enforce motor vehicle laws and respond to motor vehicle crashes. They are also responsible for traffic posts to assists school buses before and after school.
The Traffic Safety Bureau will assist the motoring public whenever possible. They enforce all New Jersey State Traffic Laws as well as the Traffic Laws in the Township of Warren.
Additionally, they will also provide a service whereas upon making an appointment a resident may bring their vehicle and child carseat in to have the Traffic Safety Officer instruct them on the proper method of installing the child car seat into their vehicle. This service is provided by appointment only, Monday through Friday when staffing levels permit.
