The Warren Township Police Department along with The Warren Township Committee provide a safe area for residents regarding internet sales transactions. The program dubbed “Internet Purchase Exchange Location” affords people a designated parking space, within our Municipal Complex, to complete their exchanges generated from internet sales on sites such as eBay, Craigslist, Letgo and Facebook Market Place. The area will be monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by surveillance camera and will be located just steps from the Warren Township Police Department. Even though Warren Township has not experienced any issues regarding in person internet exchanges, we feel by offering this safe area to our residents we are doing our best to avoid any possible criminal activity.
The designated parking space is located on the south west corner of town hall across from the Warren Township Rescue Squad Building and is marked with a green line. We urge everyone to take advantage of this new service to best avoid any possible issues related to internet sales.
